Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi has been screened and cleared by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to contest for a third term as Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
Gagdi disclosed this after appearing before the party’s screening committee on Sunday, describing the exercise as an honour and privilege as he seeks another opportunity to serve the people of the constituency.
He stated that he was the first aspirant from Plateau State to be screened for a third-term bid, noting that the development reflects confidence in his leadership and legislative track record.
The screening committee was chaired by Senator Uche Ekwunife, alongside Engineer Angela Obende and eight other members.
According to Gagdi, the committee conducted the exercise with professionalism and fairness, while appreciating the importance of continuity and experience in legislative service.
“I am deeply grateful to the people of Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam for the trust, confidence, and unwavering support they have continued to repose in me throughout this journey of representation,” he said.
The lawmaker pledged to remain committed to purposeful leadership, quality representation, and advancing the collective interests of the constituency if given another mandate.
“By the grace of Almighty Allah, and with your continued prayers and support, I will continue to serve our people diligently and never take your trust for granted,” he added.
Gagdi also prayed for continued peace and progress in Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam, Plateau State, and Nigeria as a whole.
