A new door of opportunity has opened for female Internally Displaced Persons in Plateau State as Zang Global launches applications for its RenewCycle Training Program, a 3-month initiative designed to equip women with green skills and sustainable livelihoods.
The program will take place in Jos and targets women passionate about building a better future through practical, climate-focused skills.
Participants will receive hands-on technical training in 3 key areas: E-Waste Repurposing, Solar System Installation & Maintenance, and Entrepreneurship Development. Beyond training, beneficiaries will also get mentorship and business support to help them start and grow enterprises in the green economy.
Speaking on the initiative, organizers said the program is aimed at transforming waste into wealth while empowering vulnerable women with skills that are in high demand.
Zang Global is owned by Zang Luka, a Plateau innovator widely known for turning reusable waste into power banks, phone accessories, and rechargeable lanterns. His work has positioned Plateau at the forefront of local innovation and circular economy solutions.
