The National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential aspirant Peter Obi has arrived in Jos today September 8, 2026, the Plateau State capital, to begin a high-profile visit to the Mangu Local Government Area following recent bandit attacks that left local communities distressed and raised fresh concerns over regional safety.
Obi was received upon arrival by NDC state party executives and political chieftains, led by Alfred Dapal Damiyal (ADD). Party faithful, supporters, and local community leaders turned out in large numbers to welcome the presidential hopeful before accompanying his delegation onward to the council area.
