A group known as the Concerned Youths of Pankshin Local Government Area has thrown its weight behind Gupai Yakubu Emmanuel, endorsing him for the Chairmanship seat ahead of the 2026 local government elections.
The group, in a statement made available to journalists, described Emmanuel as a visionary leader whose track record of integrity, accountability, and commitment to youth empowerment makes him the best candidate to lead Pankshin.
Highlighting his contributions to youth empowerment, the group noted that Gupai has initiated programs that support education, skills development, and job creation, which they believe will translate into sustainable opportunities for the younger generation.
On community development, the youths emphasized his experience in social mobilization and grassroots engagement, adding that his leadership will ensure people-driven policies and solutions to local challenges.
They also praised Emmanuel’s
commitment to transparency and accountability, stressing that his leadership style rooted in empathy, inclusiveness, and openness would foster trust and good governance in Pankshin.
According to the group, Gupai represents a
fresh perspective in politics, bringing innovative ideas and a clear vision focused on sustainable development, social justice, and economic growth for the local government area.
“With Gupai Yakubu Emmanuel, Pankshin has a chance to experience transformative leadership that will unite the community, inspire confidence, and drive meaningful progress,” the statement added.
The group concluded by calling on all indigenes of Pankshin to rally behind Emmanuel in order to “build a brighter future together.”
