Former Air Vice Marshal and Senator, Napoleon Binkap Bali (Rtd), has been sworn in as Plateau State’s representative on the Northern Security Trust Fund.
The inauguration was performed on Wednesday in Kaduna during a meeting of the Northern Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
According to a statement, the appointment followed the nomination of Senator Bali by Governor Caleb Mutfwang, in line with the administration’s commitment to peace, security, and regional collaboration.
Speaking after his inauguration, Senator Bali said he would leverage his background in security and public service to help restore peace not only in Plateau but across the North. He promised to ensure transparency and accountability in managing the Fund’s resources.
The Northern Security Trust Fund is a regional initiative aimed at supporting security agencies and community-based solutions to address banditry, insurgency, and other threats in Northern Nigeria.
