Gonzalez Media has been awarded the Online/Media Publicity of the Year Award at the 2026 edition of the Plateau Impact Awards in recognition of its contributions to media publicity, community advocacy and promoting local businesses in Plateau State.
The award, presented on October 4, 2026, recognised the platform for its efforts in giving a voice to the voiceless, amplifying community concerns and promoting the activities of small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs), among other contributions.
Speaking after receiving the award, the founder of Gonzalez Media, Mr. Victor Silas Gutul expressed appreciation to the organisers of the Plateau Impact Awards and everyone who has supported the platform over the years.
Victor pledged to intensify his efforts towards using the media to amplify the voices, promote local businesses and highlight issues affecting communities across Plateau State.
He said the recognition would serve as motivation to strengthen the platform’s commitment to public-interest reporting and community development.
The Plateau Impact Awards is an initiative that recognises and honours individuals and organisations whose contributions have made a positive impact in Plateau State.
