Today, you have made us proud. You played with courage, discipline, and the true spirit of sportsmanship. You carried the name of our Local Government Area to the grand stage and returned with the coveted trophy. This win is not just by accident- it is the product of hard work, resilience, teamwork and the belief that Bokkos can compete and win the best.
To our players: you have shown that talent, when well nurtured, becomes greatness. You fought for every ball, for every minute and for the honour of our people; you are champions and have become role models to thousands of young boys and girls across Bokkos Local Government and beyond. I also extend my gratitude to the coaching and technical team. Your strategy, dedication, and sacrifice have shaped raw potential into a winning team and given our Local Government something to celebrate. Again, our great supporters, who trooped out in colours. Your chants, prayers, and energy pushed the team to victory. My special thanks to our esteemed stakeholders of Bokkos who also availed themselves out of tight schedules just to grace the competition. This Cup belongs to all of us.
As the Executive Chairman, I am deeply honoured to lead a local government that values youth talent and unity. My administration remains committed to investing more in sports, youth development, and platforms that showcase the greatness in our people. This victory will kick-start even greater opportunities for our athletes.
