Plateau United FC have unveiled their third kit for the 2026/2027 football season, with a design that pays tribute to the cultural diversity of Plateau State.
The club made the announcement on Monday, August 10, 2026, revealing that the new jersey is predominantly black with a burst of vibrant colours. According to the club, the colours are inspired by the rich tribes, traditions and identities that make Plateau State unique.
The design was created under the theme “Different colours. One People.” Management said the kit is meant to celebrate unity in diversity and showcase Plateau as a state where different cultures coexist peacefully. Club officials noted that the jersey reflects the spirit of the people and the values the team represents on and off the pitch.
The Peace Boys are expected to wear the new kit during the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League season. The club added that the launch is also part of efforts to connect more with supporters and promote Plateau’s heritage through football.
With this unveiling, Plateau United have joined other NPFL clubs rolling out new kits ahead of the new season. The team will be hoping the fresh look brings good fortune as they chase silverware and continental qualification in the 2026/2027 campaign.
