The Plateau State Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Hon. Ernest Da’a, joined party members in his ward for the All Progressives Congress presidential direct primary on May 23, 2026.

The former Qua’an Pan Local Government Chairman described the exercise as peaceful and orderly, with a large turnout of party faithful who came out with their membership cards to vote.

Speaking with journalists after voting, Da’a said the turnout showed growing confidence in the APC and in President Bola Tinubu’s leadership. He said members voted overwhelmingly for President Tinubu to emerge as the party’s flagbearer for the 2027 re-election bid.

Da’a hailed the President for giving Plateau State several federal appointments, saying it had strengthened the party’s presence and gave people at the grassroots more reason to support the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The former council chairman linked the support to ongoing federal policies under the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that while some reforms are challenging, they are aimed at long-term national development.

He added that the outcome signals increased political engagement in Qua’an Pan and across Plateau State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
